What’s a Jeep between brothers?

• CATEGORIES: Features This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

From the Vale Valley Website comes this story of one brother buying CJ-2A #No. 23995 for another.  It’s written by Raymond Bleesz.  You can see pictures of his jeep on the CJ-2A Page.

It is said that the Willys Jeep won the hearts and minds of all those who served in World War II, and that the jeep won the war.

My 1946 CJ2A jeep, No. 23995, was in the assembly line of production when the war ended.

This jeep with its “Go Devil” four- banger engine, a body from the Willys Ford Overland Co. in Toledo, Ohio, was one of thousands produced during the war years and later into preproduction civilian jeeps at the end of the war.

In 1990, this jeep was given to me as a birthday gift by my brother, who had purchased it from a good old boy in Frederick, Md., towed it across country and presented it to me upon his arrival here in Edwards.  . . . . . .Read more below

PTO Drum Attachment on eBay

• CATEGORIES: News This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Anyone recognize this?  The seller is unclear if this works with a jeep pto or not.

“Probably one of the rarest rear PTO attachments I have ever seen. This was believed to have come with a pile of F-12 parts. The small pto size shaft would lend itself towards Farmall, as would the distance from pto shaft to drawbar mount. Part numbers start with an unfamiliar C4CXXX. Numbers do include C4C299 C4C300 C4C303. It is also possible that one of the letters “C” could be a “G”.

Engage and disengage lever works fine.

So the question remains…Farmall, John Deere, Willys Jeep, Cletrac, Caterpillar, Avery or some other oddball.

We look forward to hearing from someone who knows what this truly fits.

We can be reached at 563-387-7705 should you have questions”

1960 FC-150 Arvada, CO **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

“Well I’m sure no expert on Jeeps, but I aquired this 1960 FC-150 from a 82 year old farmer. This is what I call a true “Barn find” It has been stashed away in an old barn for over 20 years. It has all the typical rust in all the typical spots.

This was a running and driving jeep when he last parked it into storage. He had planned to put his portable welder in the back, but never got that far. He lost the title so I can only give you a bill of sale.

With the exception of a sunroof, and a missing radio, I would say that this FC-150 is almost 100% complete and original.

This would make a nifty restoration project, or perhaps A good a parts vehicle. I have no doubts that someone more mechanical than myself could have it running again in fairly short order?

This jeep is old and ugly but it has just around 63,000 original miles on it. The engine/transmission,differentials, etc. are all original. I have turned the engine over by hand and it’s free.

This jeep is over 52 years old, and I I am selling it as is.

I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best than be dissapointed in any way. And remember… no title.”
