Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Vintage Structo ride on Fire Jeep. Ride on that steers in VG condition , very little surface rust spots and marks. Rare only seen one other one on here. Says Fire Dept #26 on hood and pumper on seat. Shows tools on both fenders. Really nice pressed steel toy. It is missing the cover piece on hood as shown in pictures. Measures 26″ long by 10″ wide.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
It has some dings and dents, but appears in good shape. Someone mounted hood latches to the angle side of the fenders.

“Here is what i got….1957 willys cj-3b in restorable condition…barn find. there is two of them.
the one pictured is all there….needs to be restored, but is do able. i dont have a place to store it now so it has to go.
i have a 1960 cj-5 that is the partsdonor for this jeep, it has complete driveline and a front clip only but is a rolling chassis.
i do however have the Jeep Hy-Lo pump system, and the frame mount system for the plow….
i have to go back and get the cj-5 from the barn soon….the 57 is at my home. have lots of parts and need to go asap…….will listen to reasonable offers and trades.’

(09/19/2012) It has a Datsun motor mounted to the stock tranny. That’s a rare combo.

It looks like the interior of the body has been extensively repaired on this Texas hunter.
“Jeep has rebuilt engine, new carburetor, new gas tank. New brake lines, new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder. Body has been painted with bedliner inside and out. Frame undercoated and seats have been redone. Has gun rack and Koenig 8,000 lb pto winch. Detachable quail rack with gun rack and place for ice chest. Jeep is mechanically sound and runs excellent.
