About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
It runs and drives, but looks like it could use some work.

“I have a 1968 Jeep CJ-5 that needs to be restored. All of the body parts have been removed. There are two bodies for this Jeep. The picture shows the 2nd body that is just resting on the frame. The original body has all of the parts on it. The engine is the original V-6. All of the drive train in there. The two front lock out hubs and door hinges was stolen off of it. I have most of the parts. I am selling this as a complete Jeep. I will not part this Jeep out. I can provide more pictures on request. I am moving and do not have a place to keep it.”
This appears in good shape. It might make a good reproduction project.

(04/15/2010) Some of this jeep still has some old school paint touches. The headlight bezels look a little narrower and stick out more than a standard bezel. I’d be interested in seeing some better shots of those.
“Lots of off road or street fun! Califorina Jeep has chevy 327 with edelbrock manifold and carb. New upholstery, canvas top and doors. Street legal, 4 x 4 lock out hubs 4 speed , good tires and spare, extra gas can.”
(05/04/2010) This might not be a bad price. It needs at least a few parts.

Paul writes that the days are getting longer and the temperatures warmer, allowing him to check in on friends across Alaska. While looking over one collection recently, he spotted this unusually well done transformation. Those terra tires sure looking in good condition, too! Paul, be sure to thank your friend for sharing this with us!
Paul writes, “I’ll try to remember what he told me concerning the construction / modification of this Jeep but it appears a Ford pickup cab was grafted onto the Jeep body, the four cylinder engine was replaced with a V8, Scout axles replaced the original axles and I think he said the transmission was replaced with a T90 along with numerous other modifications but you can see for yourself when you check out the pictures. With the power of the V8 this little Jeep can quickly dig holes with the tires while in low range and gassing it just about makes the Jeep jump in high range…”
