Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Complete, but rough.
“1950 CJ3A Willy Jeep.
Engine still intact, but hasn’t been started in many years. Great restoration project. Has all of the original gauges, rims, mechanical parts, but the body itself is a bit rusty. Serious inquiries only please.”

This is a pretty stock jeep, but might make a nice restoration project. Give how stock it is, I’m surprised to see it has the mid windshield piece.

I don’t know if this even runs, but it has some character (or at least might have been owned by one).
“1957 Willys/Jeep Pick Up. Rough condition. 4-WD, 235 Chevy straight 6. runs. Previously owned by an old miner east of Apache Junction. Needs work! Does it need tires? Yes! Brakes? Yes! Battery? Yes! Yes, Yes yes! It needs everything but these are hard to find. Nice project.Clean AZ Title”
I don’t see the Capstan winch, but it is supposed to have one. I’m not sure if this is actually a 1946, as it has the wrong grille.
“1946 Jeep Willys – needs restoration. Running 289 out of a 1966 Mustang, built in capstan winch, brakes need to be replaced and carb needs to be rebuilt, but does run strong, not drivable because brakes are bad. GREAT project platform or great for parts. Includes original transmission and axles including front locker. Front winch bumper with tow hook, rear tow bumper.”

Those are some odd rims. The drain holes have been filled, so there’s probably been some body work on the sides.
“1952 Willys Jeep, CJ3A. Original metal body and in good condition. Painted with Chem/resist Green paint. Starts and runs great. It has vinyl closure and doors. Oil pan gasket needs to be replaced, rear axle seal needs to be replaced. Needs tires. 1960 jeep engine (not original). $4,500.00 or best offer.”
