About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Roberto‘s friend Javier de Luelmo took a few images of a scale modeling contest held at Torrent, Valencia, Spain (9 to 11th April 2010). You’ll note Robert’s t-shirt design was a centerpiece!
There looks like $500 worth of value here. The seller has provided links to a variety of pics.
“Great project. Bought it with high hopes but realized I don’t have the time for it right now. The body is straight Has not run for years looks like it needs new wiring and a good tear down, clean up, and reassembly. . Stop by and take a look, and see for your self, instead of asking questions, sometimes pictures seem to lie. $500 and she is yours. Email for questions, and 214-755-2904 for directions to see her.”
The body looks to be in great shape based on the one tiny pic.
“1948 red willy’s jeep. L-Head flathead 4, T90 3-speed tranny, Model 18 transfer case. Cracked steering wheel, original. Top speed roughly 45!!! Down a hill, might do 48.. Typical cruise speed 25.. Clean and original but not good for daily commuter unless you’re going to the grocer.”
“I have a Ramsey PTO Winch that came off of a 60’s Willys CJ-5. Its in good shape and all parts are there: winch, control box that bolts to transfer case, fairlead, and the driveshaft. The labels are hard to see in the pictures: The one on the control box says – PT1-J;The one on the winch says – Model # 1200-R (I think), Capacity 8000lb, and the Serial # (hard to make out). Looking to get $300 dollars for it”
If wiring the lights is all that’s left, then this might be a pretty good price. The body appears to be a replacement body, so it’s likely in very good shape.
