About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I am selling a 1954 willy’s delivery wagon it has a flathead super hurricane straight 6 engine and a 3sp manual tranny. It’s got 26k original miles. It is a numbers matching vehicle. It was a military vehicle. The tires are good and it has fresh paint on it”
This appears to have a VEC body. The grill appears to be from a later CJ-2A.
“1946 willys cj2a. restored by previous owner motor cranks with spark but refuses to start. I have too many projects and not enough time or energy to finish. new brake lines and wiring.I’m sure the milage is off but thats what the odometer says”
Here’s a nicely stock CJ-5. I haven’t seen a chrome rim around the spare tire like this one has. Was that an option?
“971 Jeep CJ-5, 37,726 original miles
(not a rebuild, this is ORIGINAL)
Original Buick V6 engine
Two tops (full soft top & bikini top)
Locking Axles (2 wheel to 4 wheel)
Great solid vehicle. Runs extremely well. This is not a show vehicle but not far off. Color is forest green. Interior is forest green and black. They don’t make em like this anymore and this one is as un-touched as they get. Once its gone there may never be another. Any reasonable offer will be considered. If you have questions, or wish to make an offer, please call (828) 712-6681. Ask for details.”
“I have an old 42 willy’s military Cj2a jeep up for sale. Its a little rough around the edges, there is some rust holes on the driver side front finder and the bottom of the cargo area will have to be replaced. It does have the original flathead 4 motor”
The bidding is no reserve and starts at $2950. It runs and drives. Seller can deliver.
“1960 Jeep Forward Control Pickup. Pickup has a Rebuilt Engine and Transmission…New Brakes…New Tires. Runs and Drives Great. Body has mostly surface rust, and is Solid. The dashboard has some rust thru. Driver’s window has a crack in it. Theses trucks are getting rare, and I hate to sell it, but I have certain obligations. The truck is in Northwestern Wisconsin, but I can deliver it almost anywhere for a fee, (Email for a free quote).”
It looks good from a distance, but no close up images provided.
“Reluctantly selling my 1951 Willys M38 Army Jeep. This jeep is almost entirely original, so it is a steal at this price, well below NADA. You will see fully restored jeeps for $15,000 or more. This jeep is well on its way, but much more affordable. This jeep runs great, 4X4 is operational, will climb anything and go anywhere. Great for four wheeling, hunting, or just cruising around town. It has the famous 3 speed, flat four engine. Many parts of this jeep have been restored to original condition, including new seat covers (original canvas style), new headlights and blackout lights, new tires, new windshield/gasket, and much more. Garage kept.”
Kind of a funky paint job, but otherwise sounds solid.
