About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“All original, great for restoration or hunt, cheaper than any quad, just rebuilt the carb, new charging system, all new brakes, very rare factory split bench seat, Kelsey Hayes 15 inch wheels. Has a litte rust in the front floor boards from carpet, the rest is dry. Its ugly but its a very cheap running, driving Jeep. There is no hard top.Call Steve at 928 525 9178 Kachina Village”
I decided to post this old wagon because I liked the rust patterns on this. I can’t tell if this runs or not.

Paul forwarded a link to me regarding ‘justacarguy’s’ website. Specifically, Paul pointed out a page of old rail cars — literally automobiles on wheels. There were a couple pics of jeeps and many more of cool old cars. Check out all the pics here.

This Jeep was bought as a project completely disassembled, I put it back together as a driver, it still needs some finishing not limited to the following items, windshield wipers, heater and turn signals need hooked-up. This Jeep is being sold as-is with no guarantees.

“1962 willy’s pickup truck for sale. Great running truck. All original. Make offer. Original 230 Straight six. First year of the overhead cam. complete with the original oil bath air filter(not in picture, its in the garage). New tires and nice wheels. Front end rebuilt with new seals and bearing. New breaks all the way around (shoes, cylinders). 4×4 works great. Twin stick spicer 18. Warn overdrive. Three speed transmission. Dash in complete and uncut unlike most. All lights work (except for one front blinker). Will trade for the right wheeler, must be very capable. Would like to trade for a newer 4×4 quad. Or YJ.
Some rust in front of the door on one side, and a very small crack in the fender. Truck smokes a little when you first start it up. Truck blue books for High retail at 17,000. Average retail is 8,000. Make me an offer. The worst i can say i no. With the few little things wrong with it this is a fair price. Perfect truck to be restored. Would not take much. I have tons of extra parts including all new trim and emblems etc. Call me at 253-732-2363 or email me at vanzantensteven@gmail.com.”
If the body is decent, this might be a good deal if it will run easily.
“1947 Willys CJ2A with a CJ3 windshield. Jeep ran last summer, however it sat all winter and now will not start….turns over, just won’t fire. Many new parts including: battery, plugs, wires, cap & rotor, gas tank, electric fuel pump, alternator, recovered seats. Jeep has good 31 x 10.50 tires on CJ wheels, 2 spares included. I’m not a mechanic, however I really don’t think it will take much to get it to start, just a little time and knowledge. No title, but I do have the VIN Plate. I live in St. Charles, but the jeep is on our property located in Cedar Hill/Desoto area. Cash only and must pickup, I do not have a trailer to deliver. Great farm or hunting vehicle. Call with questions.”
“Up for sale are 2 willys fc-170 forward controls for parts or rebuild. What you see in the pictures is what i have. I was going to build one off road truck out of the two but no longer have the fundings or time. The gray one has the original flat head straight six super hurricane motor and tranny with shaft drive rear pto. The truck runs shifts and drives. Box in the pictures is off this truck and the body need a lot of work to be perfect. the passenger seat tail gate and winsheild for this truck i do not have. Also i do have some old paper work for this jeep tranferable reg. The other jeep is mainly for parts has a motor and tranny in it but someone stuffed a 289 in it. There is no box for this truck. truck does not run. Buyer will need a trailer to remove these two jeeps and parts. This auction is for pickup only i will not ship.”
