About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Kevin’s got a good price on this combination of parts. You can email him at kroth936@yahoo.com to learn more.
“Tranny with overdrive and both axles….$750 for all of it…if someone only wants the overdrive it’s still $750….I hope someone needs this….also have a 4 cyl for $300”
“I purchased this over 2 years ago with the intentions of restoring it. I have purchased many additional parts but have not had that much time to work on it. The boro had asked us to remove it from the property back in September due to one of our wonderful neighbors. We need to sell soon. I did get it to turn over. This is a great solid Jeep with very little rust for someone who has time to work on it. We had it posted in the Fall for $1750 but now brought the price down. The price is firm. I have posted many items on here with great success. We are looking to sell this quick. Not looking forward to selling it but in the future when I have more time I will look into purchasing another vehicle to restore. Need to be removed from our property by end of March. ”
Only a day left on this auction. The motor has been pulled.

“You are bidding on a 1951 M38 military jeep. This jeep runs great and the body is in very good condition. There is a small rust spot on the passenger floor board, about the size of a quarter, I included it in the pictures. The fuel gauge only works when the fuel level gets to 1/2 tank, then it reads accurate. The windshield is cracked due to my nephew sitting on it when I had it down. The transmission, rear-end, and transfer case work flawlessly transitioning in and out of 4-wheel drive and high/low range. The engine starts on first crank and always has. All fluid levels are up to date and get checked routinely. My uncle sold it to my brother and I purchased it from him 2 years ago. I drive the jeep twice per week, once to take my son bird hunting, the other to his baseball game on Thursday nights (approx. 3 miles). It is not street legal so I take it through the neighborhood by my house staying off of the highway. My wife’s car has been sitting out too long and she wants her spot back in the garage and my third garage door only measures 62 inches wide, not wide enough; that is the only reason I am selling it. I tried to locate a title but was unable to do so, the process is simple to acquire a bonded title but cost approx. $150 depending on the value of the vehicle, I did not take this step due to the cost and the amount of time to get it back from the DOT, plus I never needed it to be street legal. The odometer reads 44, 304 miles, not sure if thats accurate.”

“I am interested in selling my 1950’s CJ3 Willys Jeep. It is fairly great shape for a 60 year old vehicle. Its been used for years as a farm truck here in AZ. It doesn’t run at the moment, bought it from my friend who said it needed the carburetor rebuilt and I haven’t got to that. motor spins freely (original 4 cyl) Has some rust in usual spots. the tool box under passenger seat is intact. Working tailgate. As far as i know it is all original. One rim is welded to hub so needs repair. This Jeep is in really great shape for its age and hard to find one not wasting away in a field. Wanted to make a hunting jeep/ toy out of it but no time.”
