This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Houston, we have a problem. The clutch and brake levers seem to be poking through the new wood floor boards. Not sure how that’s gonna work.

(05/31/2012) This looks good. It has a custom gauge dash.
“Beautiful Willys jeep with a rebuilt 283 engine with less then 50 miles on it. The jeep also has new tires with less then 50 miles, in addition it has anew soft top and doors still in the box. The jeep is in pristine condition, and very clean, it shows no signs of rust. I wish I could keep the jeep, but with a new baby in the family I need a family vehicle. I am set on the price and would rather keep it then budge off the asking price.”
As you can see below, we had a ‘blast’ on a quick trip over Snoqualmie Pass last night, getting stuck for an hour on Interstate-90. You can’t see it, but there are miles and miles of traffic and cars on the highway just to the left of the picture.
Today, I’m patching the roof, running Biscuit, and an assorted collection of ‘sonny-do-chores’. So, updates will be later tonight.
Also, tomorrow we will be checking out the new Le May Auto Musuem, which opened last month. We will file a report tomorrow.

I looked up the artist’s name, Pettinato, but couldn’t find anything else by him/her. The body style seemed like a Ford Pygmy to me.
