UPDATE: Lee recovered his jeep thanks to work by the Deputies at the Coconino County Sheriffs Office. Unfortunately, it had been disassembled.

“1961 Willys Jeep. Great shape. More new parts than old. Way too many to list. Brakes need adjusting. Runs good.
Original hurricane engine. High/low transmission. 4 wheel drive.”

There some really nice aspects, but a couple puzzling restoration decisions such as the method for attaching the rear bow holders.
“Very nice original 1947 Willy’s Jeep that’s about 80% fully restored. This has been a five year restoration project using only original parts from Kaiser Willy’s Auto Supply. I have well over $10,000 in parts and materials alone. Life changes however are unfortunately forcing me to abandon this project of love. Briefly, the 6 volt electrical system has been upgraded to 12 volts; gloss OD paint to emulate a Flag Officer’s Jeep; all new brake system; new glass, etc. The list goes on. Jeep runs well, fun to drive and display at car shows.”
The seller lists this as a 1950, but it could be a VEC.

The VIN is on the edge of being VEC.
“This is a 46′ Willys jeep, this particular truck was originally equipped with a column shifter. The vin or production number is 29344, there are a set of axles that come with the truck but no suspension. It had a bent frame horn that I repaired before deciding to build a different truck.
