Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “i have a 1943 Willy’s jeep, has a rebuilt 4 cylinder engine and transmission also is rebuilt. this was a project i had picked up back in 05 and started to restore. dont have time for it anymore. also looking to trade for a skid steer trailer with flip up ramps 16 or bigger don’t matter. Motor and transmission are the frame and all the brakes at new. just needs to be finish have all parts to complete this project except the tub. but do have parts listing’s on where you can get one. (06/28/2012) The more I looked at the paint job the more I kind of liked it. The steering column is installed pretty low. I imagine you’ll really have to squeeze to get into the driver’s seat.

Ann and I thank everyone for the congratulations and well wishes!! We have been busy cleaning up after the wedding and spending time with my kids, so my eWillys time has been a bit crunched. I’ve got a few updates below.
Here is a pic from the wedding. No, there weren’t any jeeps involved in the wedding, however I did receive an embroidered eWillys hat and Ann an embroidered eWillys purse, so those will make an appearance on here soon.
The wedding was fun. Moments before the ceremony started my parents’ dog Jill realized that there were dogs just across the fence from her, causing her to start a major barking and growling episode. I had to jump into the surrounding bushes and chase her away. That even was quickly followed by a young child throwing up. The parent grabbed the child and rushed to the bathroom. Part way through the crowd, the child threw up again, causing guests to dodge digested matter. What fun would a wedding be without kids and dogs . . .

2012 NW FC Roundup Details
NW FC lovers mark your calendars. Aug 3, 4 and 5 are the dates we are gathering in Tacoma, WA. The address and directions of how to get here are on the enclosed link.
The times are: Fri, Aug 3 rd, 3 pm till 7 ish;
Sat, Aug 4 th, 9 am till 7 ish;
and Sun Aug 5 th, 9 am till 1 ish.
We will have hot coffee, tea, and choc with fruit and rolls Sat and Sun am.
Fri eve, those interested can take in a local restaurant.
Sat noonish, we will have a barbecue lunch, probably turkey/pineapple burgers and beef burgers, fresh salad and potato
salad (donations for the food is appreciated).
Sat eve, for those interested, we will go to another local restaurant.
Please drive, haul, or bring photos of your FC’s and FJ Fleet Vans. If you have parts for trade, sale or donation to the raffle, please bring them. You can arrive any time and day that’s convenient. Your significant other is encouraged to join in.
The event will be in a company parking lot. The lot has a tall security fence with a lockable gate. A locked warehouse is available if anyone desires. A covered area will provide relief from sun or rain.
