About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
No year mentioned, but this is definitely a DJ-3A based on the speedometer. However it has been modified into a 4×4. It looks like a good price.
“Fun for hunting off roading or every day use…Willys Jeep Dispatcher Flat Fender 4×4 , four speed, four barrel V-6 , Headers ,Great tires runs good even has leather electric seats.”

“1947 Willys CJ2A. This is a great jeep for restoration, or a daily driver. The frame, engine and running gear are excellent. The body has rust under the doors and on the floor. It is solid enough to drive every day, and there is still enough there to restore. This jeep came from Wyoming in 1999. Since then, I have been driving it on a weekly basis. The jeep has been converted to a 12 Volt system. The highlight of this Jeep is the Warn Overdrive. These go for about $800.00. It allows you to drive safely at up to 60 mph without ruining the engine. There is 18,000 miles on the sleeved, hardened seat, rebuilt engine. The photos show a paper air cleaner system. I still have all the oil bath stuff. The trailer is a 1951 military. There is some rust at the forward part of the floor. If you consider the value of the Jeep, overdrive and trailer, you will see that this is a very good price.”
There are some nice accents on this great rebuild.

“Selling a stock 1957 Willys Dispatcher Jeep. Flat head L 4cyl. motor with 3 speed transmission. If you are familiar with the DJ3A you know that it would have been a 2 wheel drive, column shift jeep. This one was converted to four wheel drive with a T-90 transmission and transfer case. The Jeep starts instantly, moves and shifts perfectly through all 3 gears plus the 4 wheel drive high and low operates with no problems. The brakes work 100% however the brake lights and turn signals do not. It will need a windshield, tires, rocker panel repair, and floor repair. The L head motor has the original 6 volt system with a generator that charges as it should. There is a cabin heater under that dash with a variable speed electric fan that works perfectly. The seats are in pristine condition and may actually be original. The original Data plate is on the firewall and the frame numbers match. The odometer reads just over 28,000 miles. I have a clear PA title in hand and have driven the jeep down the road at 45 miles per hour. It does need work but is a great foundation for restoration.
(05/15/09) “Great Classic. Comes with gun racks, game carrier new tires and camo paint. I’ve had the Jeep for over 25 years. It has served me very well. Almost everything on it has been redone and it’s ready to roll. OPTIONAL – custom made crow’s nest tower blind – $1500. I also have a new (still in the box) 9000lb Warn winch with cradle and wiring – $600.”
You are likely unfamiliar with the Willys Jeep WWII J-8. Constructed in an underground bunker in Los Alamos by the same scientists who constructed the Atomic Bombs (they needed something to do on their days off) during WWII, this unique piece of WWII history wasn’t released until decades later by the folks at Chrysler. (ok, so I made that last bit up — hey, it will be April Fools on Thursday — but I didn’t make up this Ad).
“Custom World War II Willy’s Jeep Army Edition J-8 Lookalike. Why shell out over $50K+ for an authentic Military J8 that you cant drive on the road when u can get this 4 door version for tens of thousands less? ….”
“1952 Willys Arctic Top Jeep. It has a good running Buick V6 from a conversion 15 years ago. It has a 3 speed manual T90 with Dana 20 t Casr. Dana 27 closed knuckle front axle and a 44 in the rear , both have 5.38 gears. Hudson steering conversion. It runs and drives good. Big 11″ drum brakes and A GREAT HEATER. Custom so it actually throws heat. SHE IS NOT PRETTY. made as a hunting rig so it is reliable and driveable. Top comes off in 15 minutes or so. OLD SCHOOL build all the way. Great rig. In the last year it has been driven to the Tricities and back. It is in Ellensburg now but I will drive it back tomorrow night. It is that good of a rig. Primitive and Jeepish. Trades: The only trades I will entertain would be an enclosed trailer 6 X 12 Minimum in size or a Honda CR500. Maybe a Supermoto if its got a plate. Thats it.”
