Mike shared a photo of this shifter combo on Facebook he bought the other day. It’s a neatly done customization of the transfercase levers combined with an overdrive lever.

1976 J-10 Racer Caldwell, ID **SOLD**
Bill shared this former racer that just sold on eBay for $4,049. and featured on Barnfinds.
“Vintage racing Jeeps aren’t around every corner, making this listing pretty unusual. Here on eBay is a 1976 Jeep J10 said to be a Baja racer, bid to $2,025 with no reserve. The vehicle is located in Caldwell, Idaho, and this tip came to us courtesy of T.J. The seller’s ad is unfortunately short of details, so we’ll have to fill in the blanks as best as we can. We do know the Jeep J10 started out under the Gladiator name, a vehicle that was produced from 1962 through 1988 in one form or another. By the time this Jeep was made, the two-wheel drive option had given way to the much more popular four-wheel drive. The paint scheme indicates Marlboro as a sponsor; the driver’s name is Mike Honcho and the co-driver is Gator McKlusky. Mike Honcho was the Playgirl-posing alias of the Cal McNaughton Jr character in Talledega Nights. Burt Reynolds played the Gator McKlusky character in White Lightening, a movie produced in 1973, but the movie car was a Ford Galaxie, not a Jeep. The truck is set up to tow behind your race trailer.”

1949 Jeepster Wenatchee, WA $6000?
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/13/2022) It is an ex-Shriner Jeepster. I believe the seller wants $6000, but he has listed multiple items on the listing.
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/7556812359.html
“1949 Jeepster. I owned this Willys Jeepster 10 years ago and sold it. I just bought it back but driving it 5 miles home the oil line broke. I got home and found the person had installed a copper line that broke at the flange. It still ran but rattled with RPMs. The guy I sold/bought it from had rebuilt the top end. But I think it now needs the crank at least examine if not turned. And new bearings. It still runs. Needs correct interior. It has top bows and interior panels. It was a Shriners car out of Oregon when I first got it. So interior is not original. I had planned to restore it but decided I would rather have a 60 to 72 C10 or Ford.”
Transportation Parts Co. “Seal Test” Hubs
UPDATE: More on Transportation Parts Company thanks to Barney Goodwin of Barney’s Jeep Parts.
Barney wrote, “I hope this helps for your question on Transportation Parts Co. I put together a little display. Those of us in business who have older inventories have Transportation boxes peeking out at us on the shelves. Shown below are several vintage items from our inventory including a whole tray of gauges.
The name SEAL TEST® is owned today by someone in Europe who produces quality parts supplying to dealers. An example is the shiny box to the right behind the tray.
In our library we have several of their catalogues and can be valuable quick references which are very accurate compared to some today. Inside the catalogue shown in the back of the display and which I’ve put in a ring binder for frequent use, I have copied the introduction which gives a good, brief history of the company in their own words.
The vintage belt buckle is a promo from Transportation.

======================
Original Post November 27, 2022: This photo was posted to Facebook by Quinton. These private-labeled “Seal Test” Dualmatic lever-style hubs were sold out of the Transportation Parts Co, a jeep parts reseller out of Huntington, New York.
I’m sure someone knows more about Transportation Parts (or even dealt with them in the past).
Hobby Lobby Toy Jeep
John let me know that there is another Hobby Lobby toy jeep. Made of metal, it is 10.5″ long, about 4″ wide and long, which is a pretty good size, and currently half price at $12.99. The grille is a little different, probably to avoid trademark issues. It is reminiscent of the Italian Campagnola: http://www.ewillys.com/tag/campagnola/
