Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This rare Jeep Station Sedan model came from eBay. This seems to be a pretty rare item (I’ve never seen another one). Given the Station Sedan was produced in 1948, I imagine the model is from that year as well.

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $35,000. This has been relisted (maybe by another owner). I have it last listed in 2016.
Lots of work has gone into this.
Current post description: 1947 Willys Woody Wagon Hot Rod. 4 inch chop and lowered. Chrysler 413, automatic. Chrysler torsion bar front end with power disc brakes and power steering. Currie 9 inch rear end. Custom leather interior. Louvered hood. Faux woodie paint. Amazing how many people think it’s real wood. Much easier to maintain. So unique that it has won all kinds of car show awards. You won’t see another Willys wagon this customized.

“1959 Willys Pickup (NOT WAGON) that runs and drives. It was originally a farm truck in Colorado but has been in Utah as a project truck for the last few years. It has been garaged for the last few years.
It has the original 226 cu in 6-cylinder “Super Hurricane” engine. The odometer shows 14,333 but we’re not certain if it has rolled over 100k miles. Original 3 speed manual transmission, 2 and 4WD (hi and lo) and rare manual front lockers in working condition. New tires all around with the spare in the bed.
The body needs some work. There is rust (mostly on the truck bed) but for it’s age it’s in incredible condition. It’s not a show truck in its current condition but it turns heads every time we drive it. We’ve had a lot of people express interest in using it for weddings and photoshoots.
We purchased it with the intent to restore it but never found the time and want to help it find a new home with someone that can restore it to it’s original beauty.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5500.
(02/17/2022) Unclear what type of ‘love’ this jeep needs. This appears to have an overdrive. It’s powered by a Ford 4cyl. It might be worth a look.

This has some interesting mods, including changes to the sides of the body. The back has a mural and possibly the jeep’s former name (Fetch This).
