Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Gerald forwarded pictures of this sign (thanks!). While the Willys Wagon is featured prominently on this sign, I couldn’t find any evidence of its existence elsewhere within the restaurant. Layton’s is located in Ocean City, Md, and is supposed to be pretty good according to Urbanspoon.

On our way home from the WAAAM on Saturday we decided to drive through The Dalles, a small town whose name isn’t pronounced like ‘Dallas’ but rather like ‘The Dallzzzz”. While driving through I took an unplanned turn, then crossed over to a side street where I spotted this CJ-3A (which of course required a few pictures).
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200/each.
It’s a little rough, but plenty of parts there. I can’t tell much about the Wagon.
“I have an antique Willis Sedan and a Willis WWII Jeep. Both were my dads but have been sitting for a long time, both have some parts missing. I would love to fix them both up but I dont have the time two. Im not sure what theyre worth but I know they are both rare so im thinking $1200 or the best offer. You would have to find a way to move them and I can help.”
