About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“jeep runs needs carrier bearings in the rear end and a drive line made I have the old one that got twisted in half , it has A aluminum hard top willing to trade for 35,36,or 37inch tires with 16 inch rim or guns, or dirt bike”
(10/08/09) The shadows make it hard to see this jeep. I don’t see any obvious issues.

Sebastian has forwarded a couple great pics from Columbia. I love the colorful jeeps against the colorful buildings. Thanks!
He writes, ” I received these Pictures from a very good friend. They are from a small town called “Filandia”. This is a typical picture of these kinds of towns, many Willys (especially CJ-3Bs) group in the middle of the town, next to the stores so people use them as taxis after buying groceries. As you can see they are pretty much stock even though some modifications have been done to improve performance. Keep in mind this is not a Willys ride, a car show, or anything like that; it is just s typical day in Filandia. The pictures only show a few, but you can usually see more than 20 together. Their drivers have been doing this for so many years and usually with the same vehicles. They always tell you they will never sell their Willys since they have provided a way of living for almost 50 years. Finding a Willys in Colombia is no problem, finding someone willing to sell it is a different story. Enjoy.”
“1946 willys jeep for sale. Upgraded to a V-6 motor, lots of power. Beefed up transmission with low miles and new rear end with even lower miles. Used only for hunting. Serious inquiries only.
“1961 Willys Jeep FC-150 Pickup. Original 78 horsepower four cylinder engine, three speed manual transmission, 5.13 geared Dana 44 axles front and rear. High and low range four-wheel-drive. Brand new reproduction Firestone 7.00-15 military lug tires on factory 15” steel wheels. This is a rust-free 32,000 original mile California desert truck that has less than 500 miles on a body-off-frame restoration. These trucks were built on the CJ-5 platform and featured a cab-forward body and a small pickup bed. Only 1,298 1961 FC-150’s were ever built and there are only a handful left in this condition. Beautiful Mountain Green Poly and Palm Beach Ivory two-tone with beige interior. Very reliable and can be driven anywhere. Top speed of about 55 MPH but will pull a house down the road. “Tool Time” Tim Taylor just paid $40,000 for one of these trucks in similar condition at the recent Arizona auctions, this truck can be bought for only $20,950.”
“1962 CJ3B. Original F Head Engine, 3spd Transmission, and Twin Stick Transfer Case. Tub is in good shape no holes in floorboards. Has some surface rust. $1700.

This looks like a great price on a running MB. It’s not completely original, but who cares at that price.
“1945 Willys Jeep for sale. Set up as hunting rig with double gun rack in between front seats. Operational 4WD. F-Head motor which starts and runs. Tow bar attached. PTO winch. Comes with 2 sets of tires and wheels (5 in each set). Can arrange delivery within a reasonable distance. Price negotiable within reason, feel free to try me. Thanks!”
I love this one. Talk about a utilitarian vehicle!
“1953 Willys Jeep. Runs real good. Has plenty of power for plowing snow. Decent tires. No brakes but don’t need them for plowing. This is quite a conversation piece. Has a John Deere seat on it. Would be great for trails up north or just riding around like you do with a golf cart. Four wheel drive. This has a unique power take off that runs the front wench. Comes out of the back of the transmission. Worth taking a look at. Call Bill with any questions @ 810-516-7350.”
