About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(09/20/09) This has got a wide rimmed, slanted dashboard fiberglass body. It also has the rear wheel well extended slightly.
“1948 Willys CJ 2a Jeep with a clear title. Ford 302 engine that runs great, and sounds awesome! Griffin aluminum radiator, Twin stick transfer case, New master cylinder, New headers and mufflers, Fiberglass tub (body), Fiberglass fenders, Factory metal/steel Hood (stamped Willys), Extra Fiberglass hood …”
I found this dually earlier this week, but now can’t remember where. So, if anyone happens to know, send me the link and I’ll make sure the website (or jeep owner or both) gets the credit due them.
“This jeep has been in the family since around 1957. It has always been kept in a nice dry barn and only used occasionally, mostly just to drive around the property. It runs fine and I just drove it to a jeep show last week. The brakes need a little work as well as some of the light bulbs. Asking $3000 or best offer and would like to sell soon to make room in the barn for other items.”
“I am selling a 1942 Ford GPW from WWII. It has a chevy 350 motor with a t18 and is very smooth running!!! Locking front axle flat black! Runs great give me a call text or email me for more information or if u want to come see it.”
It’s a VEC and has got a variety of modifications. Note the cutouts right at the indents … why oh why?!
“Mileage of 35,363 is actual. Serial No. 23117. This Jeep has been on a Texas Ranch all its life, and never highway driven. 4 wheel drive works great! Manual 3 speed and has both low and high gear range in 2 wheel drive. 4 cylinder flathead 60 horsepower runs like a sewing machine. Overhauled in 1994. Regularly serviced and maintained. All books and records since 1997. Seats and top are heavy vinyl &only 3 years old …. It was originally owned by 3 Rancher/Deer hunting buddies in West Texas. They bought it new in 1946, and the last one died in 1996. I got it in 1997. My Jeep is being sold because I now have a 37′ travel trailer, and I bought a 3/4 ton Ford Super Duty 4 wheel drive to pull it. Dan Barlow. 972 539-1400. 940 550-8634”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1800. This looks like a great deal.
This looks like a nice M-38A1 for the price.
“1958 Willys Jeep. F134 four cylinder motor. Runs great. Good tires. Perfect for hunting. Email me with questions. If you want more photos I can provide those for you. Clear title. I am selling because I would like to buy a class C motor home. If you have a motor home I would consider working out some sort of partial trade.
Price Reduced: $1800.00”

I’m not sure what it would take to bring this into the U.S. and it seems pretty high priced for a non-runner, but it looks complete and raw. Interestingly, it appears to have Cali black plates, so not sure what it’s doing down there. Check out the email addy … lol
“its a 1942 GPW ford stiil in good conditions, but it doesn´t run, includes a lot of extra parts, some of them are new(new folding top, fuel pump, valves, starter, and the list continues). i also found 2 bullet impacts in the rear, i belive those are from the war. if you are interested call this number (646)152 98 00 nextel ID 152*15*55067 or email oouhshit@hotmail.com”
It doesn’t run, but turns over. It looks complete, though rough.
“I am moving and this old Willys project has to go. No title — I have the paperwork for a Rebuilders Title. It belonged to a friend’s Dad — part of his major junk vehicle collection. When they settled the estate, my friend brought it to my place thinking we would work on it togethttp://www.ewillys.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpher. We have both decided to give up, so this ol’ beast has to go. The price is $600 — $500 of that goes to my friend, and $100 is mine for the parts I put into it. Please don’t expect me to haggle on the price — I’m only getting reimbursed for new parts and getting nothing for storing this thing for 3 years. It has the original 4 cylinder engine and turns over fine, I just haven’t got it to start yet. I bought some new parts (coil, cap, condenser, switch, etc.) but haven’t had the time to seriously troubleshoot the issue. There is some spark — it might just need new plugs”
