Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1960 Willys CJ3 with working 4×4, working wench and remote with about 6 feet of cable, has a stereo and a bikini top. The paint has been redone last year it is camoflauge with a clear coat, good looking jeep. Makes an excellent off road vehicle, I have yet to go anywhere that it hasn’t gotten me through, would be a great deer lease or ranch vehicle. It has antique tags good thru Feb 2013. The windshield is cracked but you can still see through it very easily, good tires.
