About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This 1946 Willys Jeep was purchased to ride around on our property We have had it several years and it is driven almost daily. Runs and drives great. Have only had to do general maintenance (oil change etc…) We have no title and the jeep has no VIN. Has PTO that works There are a few patches in the floor pans, but very little rust. Selling as is. Email me if you have any questions.”
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. This is a no reserve auction so it will sell regardless of price. The bidding will start at $1.00. It starts good, runs good, and drives good. Original 4 cylinder L-head 134 flathead engine. Good shape. Carb will need to be cleaned or put a carb kit in it (choke has to be pulled out halfway to get it to run good). 4×4 seems to work good as well as the Hi-Lo Transmission. Tranny has a howl in high gear but not too bad. Missing brake access cover. Brakes work good. Clutch works good. Needs a new speedo cable. Speedo shows 1415 miles but not sure if it works (the speedo end of the cable is frayed). Temp and Oil Pressure.”
This is a 4 wheel drive jeep truck with standard transmission..I don’t believe there are any accessories.
If anyone has information on the Jeep please write as I’m in the dark about this truck.
Condition of truck is unknown. The truck drove before being put in storage. The truck was parked 10-15 (?) years ago in a dry building with a concrete floor. He had 2 willys Jeeps, He used the 1st. Jeep on the farm. Sold the 1st. Jeep that was listed on E-Bay. The remaing Jeep might had been the better of the two.
I WAS JUST LOOKING AT THE PICTURES. I FAILED TO STATE CONDITION OF WINDSHIELD. PICTURE #2 SHOWS CRACK RUNNING UP FROM THE WIPER ARM.
The husband has past away and I’m advertising the reming vehicle for the widow. SHE HAS A CLEAR MISSOURI TITLE
The truck will need to be carried away. All serious offers will be looked at and answered. The Jeep is South of Kansas City some 75 miles.Located on all weather county road.”

I ran across the cool picture below at roderblog.com during a search for collages. It was taken by Jeff Roder at the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum in Pueblo, Colorado. Neither Ann nor I have been there, but I’m sure in our travels we’ll wander through there as the ‘Eilers Bar’ is in Pueblo.
