Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Blaine spotted this CJ-5 with a factory V8 at Ecola St. Park along the Coast of Oregon. The angle top is pretty rare, though it could use some retightening.

“1945 ford GPW army jeep, we got the jeep out of a museum and the condition has not changed since,it features all the original drivetrain (we were told) and it runs excellent, this is a rare jeep and a perfect one for any collection it is parade ready and when restored was upgraded to jeep seats and removeable soft top.”

The CJ-2A has been switched to propane.
“i have a 1948 cj2a willys jeep,is is complete ..with really low miles 48,000 actual miles and sc title with actual millage..it has been sitting for a few years and was a driver untill it was wrecked(see pics) the engine and trans and 4×4 worked like new…it is converted to run on propane i also have a mb jeep tub and fenders and hood and 9 slat grill that comes whith the willys ,may seperate ….cash talks..poss trade for motorcycle with title (no dirt bikes)”

The body and frame are solid.
Restored can fetch up to $35,000. Made for 3 yrs.-1948 to 1951.
-Original engines are easy to find but very underpowered.
-Mechanics Manual included.
