Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Brett spotted this one just before Christmas. The auction is over. Bidding didn’t reach the reserve price. However, I thought it was interesting.
“WWII JEEP G503 TRANSFER CASE ASSEMBLY STILL IN THE ORIGINAL CRATE.”

It runs, but not drivable.
“1952 Willys Jeep CJ3A. Runs but needs some work. Is not drivable at this time as it needs to have the brakes overhauled. Does have a tow hitch. Good/new set of tires on the original steel wheels. Has a spare tire. All original with some rust in all the normal old jeep places. Clear title and registered in California as non operational. Please give me a call with any questions you may have.

“I have up for sale a 1954ish Willys CB3B. Nice rebuildable Willys jeep with a rebuilt f-head motor. the tub is rotted out but the windhield frame,, hood and grill and tailgate are in very good shape. the fenders are repairable, they are rotted at the channels. The jeep still has it factory soft top and the bows are all still there but the top inself is bad. asking $1500.00 or best offer. Email me back”
