Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This Willy Jeep is in good condition. It needs a new battery and ignition switch but otherwise it runs great and is mechanically sound. It has a V6 with a rebuilt transmission and transfer case. It comes with two tops; the bikini top in the pictures and a full cover with doors.”

“This is an original, 1942 Army Jeep. It was built in April, 1942 and still has the data plates. This jeep is as complete and rust free as you will ever find. This jeep was my daily driver since 1993 and has always been garaged. DMV registration is current.
This jeep comes complete with all five 2-piece rims (no tires), rifle rack and aftermarket canvas top. There are numerous extra parts, including the original carburetor, 6-volt generator and fire extinguisher. The engine block is cracked and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The original transmission and radiator have been rebuilt. I have all receipts for repairs and parts. This jeep can be restored to museum quality or used as a daily driver. Do not compare this to incomplete, non-working jeeps found outside in yards.”
