Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It isn’t running, but appears to have potential.
“No time to work on this 1947 (48?) classic Willys Jeep pickup. Four Wheel Drive and she is all original complete with overhead valve 4 cylinder engine. Has not been started for several years. Needs a lot of love and care but would make a great restoration project for someone. A great Montana original find.”

This has a rear PTO and might be a VEC. It doesn’t run.
“1946 Willys Jeep partially restored needs to be completed. Has many new parts to many to list. Body is completely coated with Rhino urethane coating. Rims are freshly powder coated and brand new tires. Jeep has original power takeoff unit mounted on rear. The original 4 cylinder motor and trans are in good condition and motor does run. Have $6500 invested will sacrifice for $3000. Many extra parts included and I do have title. Call Jerry for info at 989-277-7721”

Lots of updates to this rig.
“1947 Willys. 231 Buick V6, T150 3 speed, Dana 20 transfercase, AMC 20 rear end, Dana 30 front end, disc brakes, 3inch lift springs, best top, dual exhaust, powder coated steel wheels, 34X9.50 Super Swamper tires, RC8000 winch, elec wiper, defrost. and vintage heat. This Jeep was built 4 years ago. Runs and drives great. Nice inside and out. $8,500/trades considered”

“This is a 40’s vintage CJ2A Jeep. It has no motor but has complete rolling chassis with tranny and transfer. Has both front seats and fuel tank. Would make a great winter time project. Asking $500 or best realistic Offer It comes with it’s own tow bar with a 2″ ball hitch.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $950.
“I have an original snowplow for a 1946 willys cj2a with all the frame re-enforcement pieces, torque tubes and angle bar for the front springs, hydraulic pump and cylinder – Scheneker iron works model “b”plow with Hy-Lo-Jeep monarch belt driven hydraulics. I wanted to use this but after i took the frame off and went “all in” i can’t see driving it that much. every piece including hy-lo switch for the dash. complete and rare.”
The pump on the front looks interesting.

I think this is a mix of DJ-3A and CJ-2A parts.
“according to the serial number this is a 1946 willys cj2A. It does not have a title so it is for parts only. engine is in it and complete but unknown and some parts are missing but still has tons of useable parts for someone restoring an old willys.Tub is pretty rusted out but grill fenders and other body panels are salvagable.
you must take the whole jeep no cherry picking It does roll freely to tow I just pulled it out and moved it to where it is now.”
