Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1953 Willys Overland 4 wheel drive, 4 cylinder engine, 3 speed manual transmission with 2 speed overdrive, mostly stock original, converted to 12 volt electrical system. A recent professional mechanical restoration was completed. A fresh coat of original color Woodstock green paint was applied. It had been stored for 19 years prior to the reconditioning. Receipts will support the work that’s been done. New Dueler A/T tires. Very solid and is generally original factory stock with a couple of exceptions. oooh … the fiberglass hood shown is the same one I had on my first jeep. There have been only a few made.

(03/29/2011) I think this is a CJ-3A, but it’s hard to verify with all that cammo paint.
