Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1960 cj3b high hood jeep. Really straight body. It has a stainless steel fuel tank, nice seats, clean floor, and a nice vinyl top with doors. The frame is nice and straight and has a tough rear bumper. The engine is the 4 cyl. overhead valve with a 3 speed tranny and runs excellent. It also has a new battery and a towbar so it can be pulled behind another vehicle.”

“This 1951 Willy’s Jeep has a 1976 Buick V6 in it with an electronic ignition (very handy). It has the original transmission with the overdrive. It runs quite well. I have a wife and two kids. It no longer functions in our family program. It needs someone to care for it and love it. It’s been stored in a garage for the last 20 years. It has some rust only on the surface. In my opinion all it needs is a sandblasting job and some Linex. also some gasket replacement underneath. Based on my pricing research this is a good price. I am not willing to sell it for any less. Purely on principal alone.
