The engine’s exhaust needs a little help.
“All original. Bolts broke off on the motor block for the exhaust manifold. Been in the family for 40 years.”

“This truck is all original except for the tailgate. It’s a 1950. It starts and runs great. Flathead 4 cylinder. Clear title. Last registered in 1968. I bought this truck from a gantleman who’d owned it since the 60s. Until last week it has been parked in his garage for around 30 years. I cleaned the fuel line and the points. Added gas, water, and a battery. It fired up and runs perfect. The tires are dry rotted very bad but hold air. I put some brake fluid in the master cylinder and the brakes pump up but barely work. I’ve driven the truck about 5 or 6 miles and it’s wonderful. The steering is stiff but seems to free up a little more with each turn.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.

There is NO rust holes or swollen seams but it could use a paint job.Brand new military style tires, new mastercylinder and rebuilt starter. By far better than a golf cart because it’s road legal and goes almost 50 mph. It is also gets very good mileage and it’s 4 wheel drive. ”

It runs.
“I am selling a 1950 Willys CJ3A. I have the title (in my name) and matching VIN plate. The Jeep was modified years ago with a good running Ford 4 cylinder (Pinto or Mustang) that almost doubles horsepower of the stock 4 cylinder flathead motor. The motor was upgraded with a Weiand aluminum intake and Holley 4 barel carb. The steering was upgraded to a Saginaw manual box with tilt column. The 9″ brakes were replaced with 11″ brakes from a 1972 or 1973 CJ5. The tires area matched set of 31 x 10.50 on wide steel wheels (look to be 8″). The hood, grill, fenders and winshield frame look pretty good (several ayers of flaking paint) and could easily be saved. The body will need to be stripped and will need new floor panels.”
