This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1943 ford GPW, vin. no. GPW103941. rust free, original and uncut body and tub (30 cal. turret mount W/ requisite frame support). delivery date 3/22/43. custom fabricated roll cage w/ racing buckets and seatbelts ( can all be easily removed in 1 piece). new tires, brakes, and recent servicing including engine oil, radiator flush and fill, all fluids in transmission, diff., transf. case, etc. drained and replaced. all gauges, lights, flashers, wipers, horn, hi/low beam, etc. work. no issues. “USA” stamped pioneer tools (orig?). correct 134 L -head go-devil engine oil tight and runs great. also have original seats, windshield, radiator, jerry can holder, spare tire rack, bumperettes, blackout lights, data plates, etc. easily brought back to WW2 configuration. clear NC title w/ correct vin #. asking $6000 and aim on getting real close to it”

“Accepting all reasonable offers. ’53 Willys in good condition but needs new carbureter and battery…have not driven in over one year…has been garaged. Supposed to be project for husband and son-in-law but son-in-law went east and hubby not mechanically inclined…also have 1 original seat (previous owner put in bench seat) and original gas tank (previous owner put in own gas tank).
