This appears solid.
“What you are looking at is a rare 1954 willys cj3b jeep. It comes with a powerful PTO winch. The engine is the original engine and runs perfectly with no smoke and great oil pressure. The transmission is also perfect. The jeep has been restored. It could use 2 new rear tires. 4 wheel drive works perfectly. The jeep has no title, but I do have a bill of sales and can write another when you buy it.
New windshield
New carburetor
New paint
New spray in bed liner
New spark plug wires
New rear universal joint.”
UPDATE: Back on eBay. The new pic shows this has bow holders…. very unusual …. After pondering the dash, which looks fine, I think if I were to do the dash like this, I would tack on tabs to the back of the dash and then drop in the gauge plate so that is sat flush with the dash.
(04/27/2011) This appears to have been extensively rebuilt.

“8 year old restoration with new steel body, lives inside all winter, but outside most of the summer. Fun to drive, and a real eye-catcher. As photo’s show, all is very stock- combat rims, military tires, blackout lights, shovel, axe and rear seat.”
Plenty wrong here .. i emailed the seller to inform them they don’t have a $21k vehicle.

(09/12/2011) I don’t see too many hoods bent in that shape. I suspect there is a story there …. This might be a good price.

I’ve been exploring Manhattan today by foot. One of the places I wandered through was the M&M store at Times Square. I couldn’t resist photographing the jeep display. I may or may not have more posts later tonight.
