Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’m not sure there is much value here.
“I have an old jeep. No title but I have looked into in and you can file for a lost title on this vehicle. It is a project vehicle I acquired about 5 years ago and never did anything with it. It has a chevy v-8 engine in it but it looks like it is in pretty bad shape. This vehicle could be made into a project or used for scrap or parts.”

“Jeep 1949 Willys with canvas seats and top. Was restored in 1996 and has a 4 cylinder Buick in the place of the L head Jeep engine it was born with. When this was king speed limit was 45 on all Florida roads. It was made for 45 and below and is lots of fun there. Has towbar and can pull trailers easily. In low range you can idle through about anything. This is a dirt road, forest road loving vehicle and has WARN hubs. Everything works fine but needs the brakes adjusted by hand if you enjoy stopping.”
