This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Well, it is rare in that the CJ-2A is one of the most produced CJs ever. I’m sure that’s what the seller means.

(03/27/2010) “1952 Willys Jeep, 225 Buick (Jeep) V6 engine, Turbo 350 automatic transmission with Scout II shifter, Power steering, Dana 44 rear axle, roll bar, tow bar, new BESTOP top still in box, almost new 31″ tires. runs good. (01/18/2011) “For Sale 1948 Jeep Willy’s Cj2A This Jeep was dads baby, and he was always working on it. It has been sitting for about 8 years with the engine
out of it. I have a 6 cyl engine for it that is included. The Jeep is in good condition. It would be an easy rig to get on the road for summer fun.
I also have a set of wider custom wheels & tow bar for it. I am asking $1,800 OBO for it.”

It seems to me the steps on this appear a little higher than they should be. I can’ tquite figure out how that is.
