This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “FS: 47 CJ2A Located in Las Vegas,NV $5500. Very Original very complete. Had Radiator re-cored and gas tank boiled, new fuel pump installed. Engine compartment is complete, rebuilt WO Carburator. New 3 piece top from New Life Canvas, 6 Volt system New Generator and regulator. 5 original 6.00 X 16 Goodyear NDT, spare also Goodyear tire. Rebuilt Master and new slave cylinder and new exhaust system, new tie rod install, drag link rebuilt.
Great starting place for a restorer or project. Matching freshly painted 16 inch wheels.
A new repro wiring Harness installed. Repro Bow for top, all seats original including back seat. Correctly titled with matching serial number plates on fire wall and frame.”

(05/20/2011) Apparently, this runs, sort of.
“I have for sale a nice Jeep CJ6. A CJ6 has the same parts as a CJ5, but is 20 inches longer. Ideal to make a Scrambler which is only 2 inches longer. Jeep has 4 cylinder F head 3 speed. Very nice tires, two (2) extra front fenders and a very nice extra windshield frame with glass. No front seats, no battery, but has a back seat if wanted. Also has a rollbar (not pictured). Jeep runs with a temporary electric fuel pump which I removed and purchased a new manual pump (not installed) Jeep ran off of a fuel can, but a good fuel tank is included. Good title. Need more pics or have questions no problem. Can be seen at 6917 Rt 152 6185423668. Reasonable offers considered. Possible trade for a early to mid 60’s Ford truck. UPDATE//////// INSTALLED THE FUEL PUMP THIS MORNING, RUN HOSE INTO A JUG, JEEP KICKED RIGHT OFF AND RAN NICE. JUST NEEDS HOSE RUN TO FUEL TANK. BRAKES NEED WORK BUT RUNS AND DRIVES”

(04/14/2011) This looks like a real solid CJ-3A for an east coast flattie. Might make a really good restoration project.
“Have Title, 36,000 Miles, I Don’t know a lot of specifics about the jeep , it has not been started in a while but have always gotten it to run when it needed to be moved. Like brand new Best Soft Top, Plow , Last inspection 1972 , Was used to plow Personal Parking lot never driven on roads.”

(10/17/2010) “1946 CJ2A with 1976 Buick 231 odd fire V6 with headers, CJ5 power steering, tilt wheel, T90 tranny, T18 twin stick transfer case, Dana 25 front, Dana 44 with locker in the rear, 11in breaks all around working good, good clutch, Tach, buckets, and rear seat, full cage, 32in tires with almost 100% tred, nice wheels, 15 gal CJ5 gas tank mounted in rear, big winch, two tops, one full with doors, and a bikini with 1/2 doors, ok paint, lots of power, not a kids jeep, cash in hand to drive.”
