“Antique Ford Jeep with the Ford script on tailgate. Motor does not run. Ready for restoration and I don’t have the time.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1300
(03/28/2011) This might be a good price. It sounds like it runs and drive.
“for sale is this 1942 ford willy. i my self havent taken it offroading. i can tell you a few things though, it has headers, a buick v6 engine, and it starts and sounds strong. new battery. the car has been sitting for quite awhile so i would recommend a good run through to make sure everything is good. i have no time for it. it the perfect car for offroading. better than taking 10k dollar jeep out and getting it all scratched. give me a call for info or to come out and see it.”
PDATE: Price dropped to $2000
(04/08/2011) There’s still some work left on this project.
“1947 Willys CJ2A
This project is almost complete.
Mechanically this is in great shape. The engine transmission transfer case and differentials are all in great working order. The brake system is rebuilt and they work great. This cj has the original flat head 4 cyl motor and is still 6 volt.
What needs finished is the cj needs painted and re-assembled.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2400.
This might be a good price.
“4 cyl, 3 speed, New Wiring, New Tires, Orignal Rear Seat, 99% Rust Free, No Floor Rust at all.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
The seller wants to make a trade.
“I am selling or would like to trade for a car or rv the jeep has a f134 motor in it a t90 trans t18 t case 538 gears and a 8000 pound winch runs great. for more info please email me with pics of the trade and info”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000
(02/07/2011) This appears in good shape, though there is a spot of some kind on the hood.
“I have 1946 willys really good shape will trade for vette or mustang 65 years old lol every day driver.”
Brian spotted this. Since we are both ex-members of the WWJC, we admittedly had a soft spot for it. Apparently, the club makes an annual movie of the year’s events and this was the preview for last year’s movie.
UPDATE: Rudolf sent some additional pics of this rig. Steve gives a good analysis within the comments section.
Rudolf forwarded me this unusual CJ-?A/MB wagon. Rudolf reports that this is titled a 1944 and was used for public transit in Bali. Given the full floating rear end, the rearend might have been from a MB. It reminded me of another vehicle with a similar wood rear end that is located in France (see the red image below).
From France (CJ-3B Page, Offroadaction.ca)
The engine runs! Looks like it might be a good parts jeep.
“1969 Jeep CJ-5, Dauntless V-6. The motor runs, beyond that I cant say anything such as how strong it is. The Gas tank is not connected, so it only fires up from the fuel line connected to a gas can.
Frame is straight, engine is good.
For $500.00 what do you get?
a vintage 1969 Willys CJ-5 ready for a restore or a rebuild to a crawler. A Dauntless V-6 engine that probably needs some work, but not much. Everything else like tranny, transfer case, hubs etc.. Its a rolling vehicle.
For $500.00 what dont you get?
The rims, they can be “borrowed” to get it transported, but I want the wheels and rims back. The seats. The seats in the pic are not included, nor are the mounting frames, however, I have some 65’ish seat frames/seats that will go with it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $200.
There’s $200 of value here. The rims look unusual.
“Willy’s jeep was an off road project that I never started. You haul.”
