This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1964 Willy’s Military Jeep 4 cylinder, 3 speed, 4 wheel drive, hi-low range shifter. No damage, very little rust. Motor turns over by hand, have not tried to start it. Missing front passenger seat, needs new front glass, everything else is in tact. Sell for 1500.00 or Willing to trade for an adult ATV, not looking for a project. Don’t want to get rid of it, I just don’t have the time to put into it..”
The rims appear unusual. The rust is pretty usual.
“Up for auction is a very Rare Vintage Willys Military Jeep in Restorable condition, I am not sure of the year and do not know anything about its Pedigree except for the motor purrs like a kitten and seems to look like overhead valve Ford but I am not sure, I am not sure about the Original colors either, although it does drive great, high 2d low range. The hubs on front axels are worn, floor pans will need replaced, tailgate has rust along the bottom like most have, front grill is nice, hood looks great, top is aluminum and is also good, frame rails look good, very restorable vintage Military Jeep, also tires are like new Goodyear, comes equipped with snow plow with extended chassis in front for the plow or winch, New battery, runs great, will need restoration, a non-refundabe deposit is due at auctions end through paypal and balance in a cashiers check within a week, Good luck, any questions call Joe 1-401-345-9762.”

This is an OBO deal…I have owned this willys since 02. Have kept it in the garage when not in use. Runs strong always starts. I am moving and need $. “Very clean 1948 Willys CJ2A. Very original. 134 L Head T90/ M18 t case. Runs PERFECT! New family style roll cage with black semi-gloss powder coat. Origianl drivetrain and all works perfect. Great all terrain 31″ BFG tires. Steel white wheels 15″. Gray spray-in liner inside. Many bolts upgraded to stainless steel. Fresh tune up. New battery and generator. Origianl two piece Cj2a glass with pop forward venting(has cracks). RUNS great no disappoinments. I work strange hours and will call you back if you leave message.”
A little bondo ought to fix this body right up! lol.
“47 willys jeep with plow, needs a tub the old one was to far gone, runs good hi and low work good. couldn’t get the 4wd to work at the time but it shouldn’t be that hard of a fix. Have the fenders and the grill, the gas tank has a pin hole leak on the seam (just need to be welded). it should have the one brace in the back replaced also.I planned on fixing this up but just never got around to it. If you have any questions or want more pics just email me and i will get back with you.. possible trade let my know what you have”

“1948 willys jeep cj2a has the added F head engine will have to build a air cleaner box for it. its does run and drive brakes work some but will need addressed has lock out hubs . tires are shot 2 front s leak down . has had some floor patching in the front has the fold down windshield frame and the tip out. has had some old plating on the very front ends on both side should be redone due to looks this is a western jeep frame is not rusted out will need a new starter soleind has a wiper motor on the drivers side its ele and not wired not sure if it works , has a carson alum top have the doors”
