Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Ooops. I guess I was tired last night! After a few updates to ewillys, i went out for some Pho Noodle Soup, came back to my motel room (I’m in Salt Lake for a couple days) and planned to do more updates. Instead, I closed my eyes for just a minute and … boom … I was out. So, I’ll sneak in some more this morning.

“Here is a great deal!!!A 1952 willys jeep runs excellent it also has the original engine. Its a three speed has new tires, and roll bar and tow hitch. The body is in Excellent condition no rust its been garaged. Lots to list serious buyers only please.”

The bumper on back looks unusual, but I can’t see much more than that. Also, it doesn’t look like the Ballard area, but maybe the jeep is located elsewhere?

“1946 Willys Jeep with TITLE!! Desperate need of restoration. I last remember using this vehicle in the 1970’s, for pulling trees, hauling & just having fun. I understand that it needed a fuel pump back then, and unfortunately… No one has moved forward with Willy’s care”
After initially purchasing this CJ-2A, Diego shared some pictures with me. It was pretty rough and I knew he was had plenty of work ahead of him. He recently completed it, especially considering the rough condition of the original, has turned out really nice.
Diego write, ‘I finally finished my project after almost two years. It has sometimes been a pleasure and sometimes a pain in the neck, but at least I’m pretty happy with the results. And even though is CJ2A post war jeep, I gave it a military theme. I always like the military style.”
