Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1943 WWII jeep willys it comes with the original straight 4 cylinder engine,with a 4 speed manual transmission, the transmission has 3 shifters by the way. everything on this willys is original its currently not running i took the engine out of it. but with a little work im sure youll get it fired up. It does have some rust but its minor. And yes the jeep is an original how do i kno because of the Serial numbers on the engine and the carberator, and the frame, i all ready look up into it. The reason im selling it is because i dont have anytime to restore it so im hoping someone will take it of my hands and restore it for me.”

Roberto spotted this unusual Mitsuibishi CJ-3B with extended tool indents at Jeep Forum. I’ve not seen anything quite like it.

This looks like good price. It has a rare fiberglass CJ-3B body.
“This is my winter project. It isa fiberglassed bodied jeep cj3b. It has a yj suspension with new shocks and springs. Power steering and power brakes are all new with discs in front and stock in rear. All new shoes and cylinders. Also new seals all around. Corbeau seats with 3 point harnesses. New aluminum radiator. New tires and wheels. New Bestop top. New paint, not professional but looks nice. Engine is a chevy 327 and it looks new inside and runs great. The transmission is the original t-90 3 speed with new bearings and syncros. The clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing is new.
This jeep runs great but with a 327 and 5:38 gears I would not recommend this for a kid. It does make a noise when in 4 wheel drive and I don’t know what it is and don’t want to mess with it right now.”
UPDATE: On further review, I have a number of issues with this jeep, given the price. See comments.
