Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is a project. The hubs appear to lack a brand, though they look similar to hubs sold under the Allstate brand. My guess is that these were made by one of the Husky/Selectro/Dualmatic companies, then sold by Sears.

This has an unusual rack on the back. It may have a CJ-3B or DJ-3A Convertible windshield (can’t tell which from the pics).

“I have a 1947 Willy’s for sale with a 302 ford engine t-18 transmission locked in the front and rear with 5.38 gears in the front and back! Also has a pretty good set of bfg A/T 35×12.5×15! Also has power steering and disc breaks! Even comes with a winch and cooler rack!”

Willys cj2a with all stock L134 engine that turns free. Original trans. and transfer case. Drivetrain never altered, even has original carburetor and Willys brass radiator. This could be used to return a V8 modified Jeep back to stock condition, or good for parts. Floor of tub is rusted through, but side panels and dash are in good shape. No title. I won’t be responding to any “Is this available” PM me if you’re interested.”

“Runs and drives. But needs new or rebuilt carburetor. Brake fluid leaks so brakes don’t work. Stuck in 4×4. $4500 or obo.”
