UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
It runs. It appears pretty straight.
“1961 Willys Jeep Wagon. Runs and drives, Hurricane flat six, 3 speed with hi-low. Some rust, but not terrible at all. no broken windows and floor board are solid. we have clear title Call 865-1991 with further questions or to setup a time to come take a look at it. Thanks”
The price might be good on this. I can’t tell if there’s rust across the rear bottom of the windshield or if that’s just an illusion.
“runs good needs some brake work 68000 original miles 4 wheel drive works im third owner of the jeep as told to me by the first owner has some body rust but still looks good also has a small black top that is much better looking more pictures available.”
Not 100% original, but looks good.
“Willys Jeep CJ2A 1947, totally restored (Frameoff), everything is rebuilt or new. Trophy winner and fun to drive. More pics, if needed.”

“1945 WILLYS JEEP CJ2A . SMALL BLOCK CHEVY, VERY CLEAN, RANCHO SUSPENSION. WARN OVERDRIVE. MUST SEE!!”
UPDATE: *SOLD** Was $3300
(10/19/09) There is quite a bit of work left in this, including some body work to make the body meet the fenders.
“If you are interested in it…please call do not email or text and I will give you directions. Do not offer me anything less or I will counter with a higher price then I listed it for the price is firm… It just needs a few things like seat belts and a couple of tabs and braces welded on. This is a sick ass Willy’s Jeep 4×4 that has been stretched and has a 231 Buick fireball V6 these are old pictures before I put the other seat in. It has custom headers cherry bombs and all it needs is a little work on the shifter but runs awesome. Price should be a lot more. I have both seats the front windshield and hood that was also stretched not pictured.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
(12/17/2010) This looks like a nice rebuild.
“51 Willys Jeep totally stock running gear completely rebuilt and replaced from the pressure plate to the tips of the axles. 3 speed transmission, transfer case and both axles have been completely gone through and rebuilt with 11″ brakes added and firewall mounted brake pedal. I have $4000 worth of receipts from Back Country Products for the running gear rebuild. This Jeep is all about Nostalgia. The motor is a 1955 Corvette 265 small block Chevy – very rare only 700 Corvettes built in 1955. This motor NEVER HEATS UP even in our hottest weather, wish I could say that of the street rods I have built. With an Enos wiring kit, batt relocated in the rear, nice bucket seats up front with driver seat adjustable so any size person can drive comfortably (I’m a big guy) a custom rear bench seat with 3 sets of lap belts for the grand kids, Corvette chromium yellow paint, a black and white striped bikini top and you begin to see this thing is for show and go. In 6 years since this project was completed I have put exactly 512 miles on it. All hauling kids over to 7-11 for slurpees – well its not far to 7-11. Always garage kept and never once taken off road, that’s why it looks the way it does today. If you don’t want to have people point and stare this is not for you. This thing draws as much attention as my street rods (had two motorcycle cops pull along side and talk Jeeps at a stop light today). This thing pulled the Bonanza High School freshman float at their homecoming this year. I am out of room and want to go off roading with my son and his rock crawler, my wife won’t lend me her Toyota Four Runner for such foolishness. It would be a sin to cut this up into a rock crawler. While it will do off road anthing and more a 51 Willy was designed for I am looking for a more aggresive off road rig and just can’t bring myself to start with such a beauty that is doing what is was built to do. Asking $5800 or trade for more aggressive off road vehicle or a Polaris Sportsman EFI. I don’t have to sell and I don’t have junk so don’t even go there with your offers. Don’t tell my grand kids… boy am I in trouble. Serious persons can call Gene 702-379-3980
