This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Both of these Jeeps appear in good condition. It looks like the GPW (the jeep pictures at bottom) comes with the some stainless.

“1957 willys Overland Wagon, very very clean, 307 buick rocket motor, very clean body, sitting on s-10 frame, just need wiring and finished, Have everything needed to finish minus driveshaft.”
This doesn’t look too bad; if the price is right this might be a good project.
“1956 Willys CJ3B. Original working warn winch, good tires, body is rough and needs to be restored. This jeep was running until about 10 months ago. It has been sitting behind my house since I have not had time to work on it. With a little work it could be running again soon. I need this out of my back yard! I have all the manuals and some parts that will go with it.The first reasonable offer will get this Jeep. Please email me with any questions.”

“runs good, could use an elec.6 volt fuel pump.clutch needs adjustment,comes with spare parts and a good spare engine,it has a 4 cyclinder flat head engine..soft roof and doors.3000 or make an offer but I won’t take much less then that..jeep is in moundhouse…I’m only selling it because I’m to big to fit behind the wheel and I’m into hot rods not jeeps. if your interested, send an email and a phone # and I’ll call you back..clean tital and it’s driveable.thanks for looking.”

“All original Willys w/Hardtop & Doors. has the original flathead 4 cyl and runs good still on 6 volt system w/new batteries.Nice military style tires like new tread. All gauges and interior dash light work”

(08/20/2010) Looks pretty stock. Something’s been added to the front near the grille, but I can’t tell why.
“This classic 1952 Willys jeep has brand new tires, and I had a mechanic do over $8,000.00 worth of work on it. It has a top, and I have the two doors that came with the top that have not yet been installed. I also have other jeep parts I will include with the sale. It is registered and runs.”

“i have a 1948 jeep willys flat fender that i bought in the process of a restoration. this jeep had a ford small block v8 w/ c6 tranny when i bought it, but i made arrangements with the previous owner as he wanted to keep the motor… so, buy a ford v8 and bell housing, and everything will bolt right up and run! this jeep has soa lift started and everything is in place, but perches have not yet been welded, so if you want, you can set suspension back to stock. the frame was sandblasted and repainted by previous owner, and it has custom fabbed rollcage. the jeep’s tub is in great shape with no rust holes or rot, as the jeep is from tennesee where i bought it, however, it will need to be painted. like i said, it had the running ford v8 drivetrain in it, so all the fab and mod work is done, no guesswork needed. call 920-251-2910 and leave message if interested.”
