Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This runs though the body is a bit rough.
“Green Willys Wagon, from the last year of production, before they brought out the Wagoneer, as Kaiser Jeep. Original 6 cylinder flat-head engine that I rebuilt a dozen years ago, and haven’t driven all that much since. This one runs pretty well, though I haven’t used in for several years. Body isn’t too bad, but it’d take some work to get it back to really nice condition. Driver’s side floor needs replacing.”
There might be some value?

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
(05/14/2010) It appears to have a MB windshield. The rims are quite unusual. I’d like a closeup look at those. It looks in great shape.

(07/19/20100 Well, it’s a running, driveable GPW with the original engine and tranny.
“This 1943 Jeep is actually made by Ford, not Willy’s. It has the original engine and transmission, and both have been rebuilt; it has a dual, locking transfer case, with low-range for some serious climbing ability; it has fairly new 35” tires; it has a serious “roll cage” for great protection; it has a drop-down tow bar for easy towing; it has an “Ooga” horn; and it was recently painted the eye-catching black and yellow pattern shown below. It’s street legal and off-road ready. Call and buy it if you want to have some major fun.”

(09/05/2010) This appears to be a pretty stock Jeep in reasonable condition. It appears to have the vacuum tube for the wipers.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000. This has gone through some refurbishing since it was last listed in 2010. Looks much better now.
