This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks rough, but apparently runs.
“hey i am selling a 1948 CJ2A willys i have just put a head gasget on it and put new plugs and wires on it and changed the oil also. i am looking to get $1200.00 or best offer had some things come up and need the money more than the jeep.”

(11/13/2010) This looks like a good buy in Southern Texas.
“2 Willys Jeeps – A ’61 with blue title and do not know the year of the other jeep. Both were running (4cyl engines) but have been sitting for a long time and need work. Good restoration project or part them out. Both for $1,000.”

Nick reports he took this Scout for a spin. He says that he “drove it for a grassy spin and it acts just like a ’67 Scout should! … It is very stock with original engine, etc.” .
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
This is a little rough. I can’t tell where the gas filler is.
“1947 Willys Jeep, F- head engine. Engine runs great, has new carburetor but needs to be tuned. Needs new master break cylinder. Great for off roading, hunting or whatever you desire. $2,000”

Doesn’t run at the moment (battery dead).
