UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
No engine, but appears solid. This might be a good find for an eastern truck.
“Body in very good shape with very little rust. Motor was taken out before I got it. Last motor in it was a GM v-6.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1700.
This runs. It might be a good price.
“This is a 1947 Willys Jeep. I am not crazy about selling it but my dad needed the parking spot in the shed for a tractor. Instead of letting it sit out in the weather I decided to pass it on to someone who might be able to use and enjoy it. I bought this jeep from a friend who was forced to sell it for exactly the same reason. Believe it or not the jeep was original to his family and I am only the second owner. My friend drove it as his only means of transportation growing up until he parked it in his father’s barn 15 years ago. I bought it as a project and actually got it running great. I replaced more things than I care to list but will be glad to explain it all to any interested parties. I found that parts for this model are relativley inexpensive and easy to find. It still needs work but not as much as you would think. I feel that most of the work is cosmetic but I liked the patina and wouldn’t do it personally.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
(08/09/2010) This appears solid.
“1951 willys jeep 4×4 327 v/8 engine runs great. road ready.”

Steve found this rare flattie toy listed yesterday. The CJ-3B Page shows it is a Structo Steel Jeep intended as a ridable toy for toddlers.
“Found this old pressed steel toy ride on jeep from the 1950,s in a house i was painting.”
UPDATE: These images come from the War Wheels website. There’s a longer discussion no why changes were made to the gun placement.
Here’s what’s likely a 1941 image from warwheels.net of the Bantam BRC-40 T2 with the 37MM Gun on it mounted in the middle of the vehicle:
There were some problems with the T2, so the gun was moved to the back for version 1 of T2E1.
The army preferred this location, because a 2nd version of the T2E1 was developed that lacked a standard body (many more photos here):
Finally, there was also reportedly an anti-tank Willys MB version called the T21 with a75mm mounted in the rear, but I haven’t been able to verify it.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2250.
(09/25/2010) If the rust situation is good, this might be a good price.

“1947 Willys CJ2A. Good condition. New rebuilt carburetor. Solid body and frame. Runs well. Has hard top with doors and spare tire. Call Chris evenings (970)689-2664.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000.
Someone chopped the sides of that hood.
“1958 Jeep CJ3B Frame off rebuild 5 years ago. 6,000 miles since rebuild 302 Ford V8, 3 speed automatic, BestTop soft top, roll cage, Mile Marker Hydraulic winch, rear seat/storage box, Detroit Locker in rear, 31″ oversize tires. Body in good shape, no dents or dings. Home garage paint job with a couple of chips.
Runs perfectly, loads of power. This is a narrow, short wheelbase vehicle with a high center of gravity so it must be driven carefully at highway speeds, but it will run down the freeway at 70MPH with ease. Vehicle needs nothing, but has lots of possibilities for cutomization/modification.”
UPDATE: Was $6500. **SOLD**
This has an unusual approach to creating a dash for a fiberglass body.
“Selling my ’51 cj. It has a 225 v6, original t90 3 speed transmission, spicer 18 transfer case, dana 44 rear axle. The front axle is an upgraded dana 30. Everything works great just had carb and ignition tuned. Body is fiberglass. Asking $6500, but price is negotiable. Will possibly consider trade for toyota fj 60 or other toyota landcruisers”
