This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Frank provided this tip, “I’ve worked in Chevy dealers since 1971 and they used to carry Windshield Cleaner, Bon Ami cleaning powder part # 1050011. It was mainly used for windshields that had oily or greasy film on them from wax or what have you. It works very well (I’ve used it myself) just follow the instructions.
It may still be available at GM dealers. I still have a box at home and the seal on top reads ‘same formula as Bon Ami cake’. Now you would think that Bon Ami cleaner available today would be the same since there are no bleaches or chemicals listed in the ingredients. But the container reads ‘do not use on windows, glass or mirrors.’ Very puzzling….”

The body doesn’t look too bad, but the seller indicates it is. This appears to have been a nice build at some point.

Jim’s got this snow plow for sale.
“I have a complete Meyers snow plow set up for a willys jeep, worked excellent when we took it off, have all the brackets etc. Could be modified to fit later jeeps or something similar. Would consider part trades for f*rearms, winch, canoe, guy stuff.”

“1951 Willys Pickup. All original except bucket seats. (Have original seat – it needs to be recovered.) New brakes, spray-in bedliner, gas tank, turn signals, 6-volt system. Body straight & solid. $4,500.00.”

Here’s a very nice CJ-6 with some updates.
“I’m selling my 1968 Jeep CJ-6 I purchased in 1997 in Colorado. This jeep has been garage stored and had a 90% restoration before I purchased it. Jeep runs good. Inline six with weber carb. Dana 44 in rear with ARB Locker and Dana 30 in front with Detroit Locker. Jeep has custom dual tanks and bars for roll cage. Also has a Bestop soft top I purchased for $600. I purchased this jeep for $6500 and letting it go for $5200. A CJ-6 is similar to a CJ-5 but 18 inches longer in the middle, nearly the same wheelbase as the CJ-8 Scrambler. This is a rare jeep and very few are even registered.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $300
Some old desert dogs on the front and old terras on the rear. The rims with the terras look pretty good. Given those additions, I wonder if the drive train was upgraded with anything like posi.
