This should be good for parts at the very least.

“Made up to look like an Army Jeep. All brakes redone, master and wheel cylinders, pads, lines hoses. Wheel bearings and seals bushings and shocks. Good exhaust. Wiring redone, all new gauges. Good seats, Like new Army top and frame work, made by Beachwood canvas . Runs and drives good. Body rough but usable, Jeep still needs work but lots of work has been done. $1900 OBO.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1300
(05/25/2010) The body appears in good condition, but hard to tell from this far away pic.
“I have a 1947 CJ-2A with a later DJ style body on it. It has the L-134 flathead motor, along with an upgraded Solex carb that many people swapped on to these engines. Has new carb rebuild kit, new spark plugs, new points, new electric fuel pump, new fuel lines, and about 80% left on some 31″ mud terrains. The bad news is a blown head gasket, however if you’ve ever seen one of these engines, it is probably the easiest thing to replace on a Willy’s, and despite this it will still drive around town, just not very far down the highway. It has some dents and dings, but verry little bad rust anywhere. Great for around the ranch or around town.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was on eBay.
This is interesting because it is being sold by the Department of Corrections of Colorado.
“Ready to be restored, minimal rust, body solid. Vehicle runs, hard to start, any known mechanical problems are noted; if none are noted, none were identified when the vehicle was turned in. Vehicle has: minimal body damage, dents and dings, minor rust and peeling; NO EMISSIONS, must be registered outside AIR counties or sold to dealer; DR 2023, no brakes, unsafe to drive; tread: average wear, ~ 50 % remaining; pitted windshield; vinyl cloth seat, metal floor.”
A lot of work needed to turn this into a runner.
