This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1600.
“This is a DJ3A jeep that’s had the CJ2A 4X4 Drive train installed. Original 4-134 flathead runs great, T90 3 spd trans and D18 2 spd transfer appear to be good. I drained and replaced the oil and it was Not milky (no water). I took the original (rare) DJ hard top off to use it for hunting, I still have it and it goes with the Jeep. Replaced the rubber brake lines and flush the brake system so it has brakes again. Original 16″ wheels with the spare. It is currently licenced but need the taillights fixed (wires) to be street legal. It’s a cool Jeep, just don’t have the time or money to do it justice (and space).”

“1962 military style, 2 wheel drive, three on the tree, 4 cylinder flat head, rear seat, upholstery in great condition, garage kept past 18 years, 52000. miles, no rust…great shape! A fun ride !!”

Here’s a DJ-3A in good condition. I’ve only seen 2 other ’65s.
“Amazing but no rust ever or anyplace. It’s been sitting for a few years and has bad gas in it and doesn’t want to stay running. Flathead inline 4 with floor shift three speed. Fun time at the parade or cruise.”

CALL ME AND MAKE ME AN OFFER, ALL SHEETMETAL IS ORIGINAL NOT AFTERMARKET, SHEETMETAL IS IN EXECELLENT CONDITION, FRONT AXLE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION ALSO. 605-999-4842 OR EMAIL ME I WILL BE SCRAPPING THIS IF I DONT SELL WITHIN 1 WEEK. I HAVE NO USE FOR IT AND IT IS JUST TAKING SPACE.”

Brett spotted this deal. This includes a Winch! It looks like a great price.
“This has had a 283 chevy engine swap, it still has the jeep three lever transfercase and the transmission. The engine has new ignition and exhausts. clean older jeep. It also has an 8000 pound winch and a tow bar.”

This appears pretty solid for a east coast wagon. It might be a good price.
“This jeep has been in my family since 1963 and until now its had a place to stay. interior was redone in late 90″s. engine is complete but hasn’t been started in a few years, have some parts also. Willing to take partial trade doe guns or boat.”
