Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Yes, tonight I bought 3 Austin Champs. It turns out one of them is a Royal Marines RN Champ. There are only 3 of these know in existence (it’s the gray one). You can see some big pics here.

“Stock 1967 CJ-6, stock 134 motor and driveline. Ran when I parked it (5 yrs ago) but now has no compression in 2 cyl…maybe valves hung up? Didn’t try much to start it yet? Body is heavily rusted…hood, windshield good. ”

This might make a good restoration project if the seller’s description is accurate.
