This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “here is a 1945 willys military jeep that was titled in 1951. back then military jeeps didn’t have titles. If you bought one back then it could be titled when registered. It does not run anymore ( motor is stuck ). The body is rusted bad but it has the original drivetrain . 500.00 obo”

This has a variety of drivetrain updates.
“Very rare Willys Sedan Delivery. There are some sheet metal issues, but replacement panels are available. Perfect for someone with a little body shop experience. Engine is a Chev 307 V8 w/Turbo 400 automatic. Axles are from a Waggoneer providing decent road gearing vs. original Jeep low ratio. Here’s a nice looking column shift CJ-2A forwarded by HOG. There’s only one pic, but it is a big one.

“Restored Willys Overland Sedan Delivery Van; 1947 body on a 1961 Willys Drive Train; 226 Flathead 6 cylinder engine. 4 wheel drive; Lots of chrome inside; Murals on the inside wall; Customized; It has been named “Poor Boy’s Dream”; Very rare van.
Problems known; Transmission sometimes pops out in 2nd gear when you let off the gas; Needs a headliner; Need to install the windshield wipers (all parts included);”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3450.
The seller also has a FC-150, though it doesn’t appear to be for sale.
“VERY good body, and as you can see… original tailgate stenciling is still alive and well! Engine (Original) has been started but will need rings at least. A “plus” as is if you have mosquito issues. If you’re not in the mood to rebuild… A perfect engine swap is the 60 degree V-6 Chev found in tons of S-10 pick-ups and other. They’re all over the place and they fit under the “dog house” without modifications to the sheet metal.”
There looks like $250 worth of parts.
“This jeep is for parts. If you want a pristine Jeep, this one is NOT the one you need. I do not know if its all there, and the engine is probably not original. It has a 6 cylinder motor, which may be a Kaiser straight-six. Floor pan is rusted out. This jeep is old, but may be a good find if you’re looking for some parts.”
