About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“V6 225 Buick that runs excellant. 3 speed with the Warn overdrive which makes it pretty rare. Carb was rebuilt and I just put in a new gas tank. Has custum bumpers that support huge pipe rack. It’s in great shape, I’ve been driving it all spring and summer. Seats are in good shape. No emails please. I might swap for an old convertible in similar condition. I have some tops for it but they are for CJ5 or 7’s along with the doors, I never fooled around with them.”
It’s not a perfect restoration, but appears solid.
“’42 Ford GPW military jeep. Engine rebuilt less than 100 miles ago. Has had restoration work done but not ground up. Runs and drives well. Engine strong, non directional tires.”
(03/23/2010) It should run once the carb is cleaned.
“This is an incredable find! This FC150 is a wide track 79″ wheelbase with all the hard to find parts…gas tank, tail gate, windshield, original seats, exterior cab lights. Has a new battery. The engine is a 1963 Ford 170 straight 6 and turns over freely. Once the carburator is cleaned, it should fire right up. ”

“I would like to trade my 4×4 ATV’s for a Jeep Wrangler, CJ or Willys in good condition. Each of the ATV’s have working wenches and are 4 wheel drives. They run great and don’t need anything that I know of. One of them is a Yamaha Grizzly 400 and the other is a Kawasaki Prarie 360. Send some pic’s, describe your trade and let’s do business. I need a vehicle and don’t have the cash. Let me know what your thinking!! Send your emails to your autopro@rocketmail.com Thanks for the interest…”
“1953 Willys CJ-3B jeep. Complete less engine. Has fenders, hood, transmission, transfer case, etc., but disassembled and paint sanded off – 99% rust free. Can be put back together and restored or used for parts. Call if you have any questions.”
(09/02/2010) It looks like there’s been some body work done already.
“1946 willy’s jeep cj2a!!! AMAZINGLY strong Go DeViL engine!!! Original! Runs and can be driven as is!!! Or restore this wonderful piece of american history to original!! (this was the first jeep marketed to Civilians after WWII!!) in amazing shape for its age!!! We had planned on restoring to original but due to some unexpected medical bills we now forced to sell!”
This was listed almost 2 years ago at $5000. It is now at $3750. The body has been replaced with a fabricated body, so I’m not sure how accurate the body is.
