1961 Willys Shorty Wagon $7,000 Magalia, CA
1961 Willys Jeep $7,000 Magalia, CA
Andy’s Picks
INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
This Jeep project began in 2001 and was completed in June 2005. It was a labor of love but I need to let it go to someone to use it. For the past several years it’s mostly sat while I maintained it but not using it as it should be. It is a project that somebody started and lost interest. This is a 1961 willys wagon that somebody shortened and did a lot of cutting on the body. The running gear was stock when I purchased it. Currently it has a 5.0L Ford, original transmission and transfer case and a Warn overdrive. Gear ratio is 4.88. Open differentials. Has Cheverlet power steering from a 1971 Chevelle. Dana 44 rear end and Dana 30 front (I believe). Seats are reclining from a Toyota Corolla. Brakes are pretty fresh as I haven’t put a lot of miles on this since completed. All brake lines were replaced and a 4 wheel hydraulic line lock installed. It’s been completely rewired. It also has a frame mounted electric fuel pump as a back up. It’s not hooked up (hoses) but functions when hoses are connected. It’s wired and works, just bypassed at this time. Rear seats are removable for an open bed area. Wheel base is close to a CJ5 but has the wider track of the Wagon. Steering linkage is from a early Ford Bronco as well as the radiator. Manual emergency brake is also early Bronco. Has a Ramsey 6000lb winch. Odometer is not accurate so the actual milege is unknown. I’m sure there are things that I’m missing, feel free to call if you have any questions

Timberwolf sent over their GPWs that are up for Auction on BAT.
INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
These two consecutive-serial-number 1942 Ford GPWs, chassis 712 and 713, are very early production (VEP) examples that are said to be among the approximately 2,000 built with Willys-style frames. The seller acquired the pair in 1997. Both trucks are finished in olive drab over matching canvas upholstery, and power for each is provided by a replacement flathead inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. They underwent separate refurbishments under current ownership; GPW-713 was restored in the late 1990s, while GPW-712 was refurbished in the early 2020s with metal repairs to the body and frame. Equipment shared between the two includes 16″ steel wheels, folding windshields, Ford-script rear panels, and blackout lighting. These two GPWs are now offered as a pair in Shelby, North Carolina, with replacement windshield glass for GPW-712 and clean North Carolina titles in the seller’s name

Not sure of year but low serial number. May need some framing work in upper section as a lot of older ones do but I’ve used this at Hershey quite a few times . Stove works as does hydraulic lift system. I’ve made up some jacks to lift it as these old ones were not set up for them and the one the factory offered separately were very dangerous looking. Asking 1200 obo made in person after you look it over. Thanks for looking
