This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Jean-Sebastian spotted this nice looking Canadian Gladiator for sale.
“Beautiful 1965 Jeep Gladiator, 350 Buick eng. Automatic trans. A real pleasure to drive, certainly turns heads wherever it goes. It is a 4×4 but never goes off road! Power steering, manual hubs, truck is always garaged and rarely even driven. Needs a few finishing touches to make it perfect but is fine the way it sits! Hate to sell it but could really use the room in my shop right now. Please email with questions and I’ll try and answer them the best I can, if you would like more pictures let me know and I’ll send them off. The truck has a California title at the present time. I can have the truck shipped anywhere or will work with your shipper on my end.”

(06/30/2010) This needs the tranny/clutch fixed at the very least.
“46 willys jeep. small block V-8(327) with new water pump, valve covers, belts and harmonic balancer. very strong. have brand new clutch kit and transmission rebuild kit for a Borg Warner Non-World Class T-5 transmission. Didnt have time to finish fixing the trans and clutch. has a 20 gallon gas tank mounted in the back to keep up with the V8. have soft top and doors. $2000 OBO”

“Either a 1943 or 1947 cj2a for free. I know nothing about it. Looks complete, the two fenders and the hood are next to the fence and not in picture but are there. Come get it before Johns gets it.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1100.
Except for the cut out side and the funky seat platform, it doesn’t look all that bad.
“1948 Willys Jeep. Runs good but needs steering sector replaced. I have a good used sector that comes with the vehicle to replace the bad one. Engine, tranny, and drive train are in very good shape. All rebuilt several years ago but not sure of mileage since then. Body/interior is in very poor condition. Motor & tranny are original. Tires are good. Call with questions.”
