About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Tom spotted this one. It hasn’t been driven in 4 years, but it looks in great shape.
“1971 Jeepster Commander with four wheel drive . This vehicle has not been driven in 4 years. It has been stored in a closed garage. Didn’t attempt to start it but will require a thorough maintenance work over. Mileage as shown on speedometer.”
“Great Jeep. Lots of upgrades. Disc brakes all the way around, 4 speed transmission, dauntless V6 engine, tilt steering wheel and steel body. Very capable and fun to drive.”
“1946 Willys CJ-2A in original condition and being sold by second owner. In running condition with new spark plugs, brakes redone, carburetor rebuilt, distributor redone, and new battery. California vehicle and mainly stored in a barn. Serious inquiries only. Call or text only. Will not respond to emails. If ad is up it is still available.”
“M38 and parts for sale. In Omaha Ne. . Runs and drives, have an extra mint frame, extra fenders, grill, tub, tailgat, windshield frame, axles, misc, title, 8k. Pto winch. Selling as a package, Local pickup only. Send me an email and I will respond.”
“Im selling a few jeeps, this listing is for a 1943 GPW serial#114840 body (tub, fenders, hood, windshield) with a 1946 CJ frame and axles. It also comes with a CJ engine, possibly from 1946 also. This would make an excellent WW2 re-enactor or parade jeep.”
The engines don’t run (seller makes a point of this after being asked many times). This GPW has been disassembled. Seller is selling individual parts at this time.
“Up for sale is a completely disassembled wwII jeep, made by Ford. This is a 1942 Ford GPW, serial# *78812. The entire jeep was disassembled with care, and parts put in labelled bags and boxes. Asking $4500.
It includes:
post war L134 engine and radiator, period correct
F-marked T84 transmission housing and gear set
F-marked Transfer case housing and some gears
Steering assembly, leaf springs all four corners
original front and rear axle
original frame, with serial that matches body tub, with tran mount, but no front bumper
original body tub with serial that matches frame, fenders, hood, windshield, grill
one starter and generator, period but not correct
assortment of other parts and takeoffs that were sourced from ebay, local sales, g503, etc too many to list
I’m not sure if there is $1000 in value here or not.
“I have recently purchased a property with a load of Willys Jeep parts. The previous owner was into building and restoring old jeeps.
Major items include, transmissions, transfers cases, radiators, engine, rear seat frame, tires & wheels, front grill, pair of doors, flywheel and much more.
See images for to get an idea what all is available. Assume all parts needs work.
I would like to sell everything together and not sell individual pieces.
“1947 Willys Jeep all original. 4 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission plus power gear. Four wheel drive. The engine is not running but it was running 5 years ago. It has been in storage. The odometer reads 34,053 miles”
